Inception - 2015
In 2015, Computer Science student at the time Felix Abreu (Founder of BlueiT) made a trip to his motherland Dominican Republic with the goal of reconnecting with his family. Having visited different parts of the country he noticed a consistent "missing piece" in many small business establishments, modern day technology.
Majority of the businesses Felix visited sold their products using a simple calculator to compute their daily transactions. Noticing this "missing piece" led Felix to wonder, how much more successful could these businesses be if they had access to technological services that would help them achieve their highest potential?
